We had a great launch, however we are by no means in the safe zone.

We will be starting a new prayer support campaign: Gospel City One. We are asking for friends and family to support us in prayer ONCE a week for ONE year (the remainder of this calendar year).

Why are we starting another prayer support campaign?

Let me tell you a story. On Friday, January 30, I received an email stating that our church has to find a new space to meet within a couple of weeks. The email came as a shock. However, I was not too panicked. This isn’t the first bomb that had exploded in my face since starting to church plant. Although these situations require a lot of work, I have seen God answer and provide for us over and over again.

I’m reminded of Philippians 4:5-7. 

The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

God has used all these trials to bring us close to him. God is at hand. Instead of panicking, we are called to trust him, pray, and act accordingly. We are still a very vulnerable church and we need your support. So please do consider praying for us once a week.
