Everybody loves Christmas lights. It brightens up our cities, our neighborhoods, and even our homes. John, the beloved disciple of Jesus, first begins his gospel by establishing that Jesus is the word and that He is the light. In this sermon, we learn that this world is a dark place and Jesus is the only source of true self-existing light.
