Our Korean Ministry had a wonderful time at their 2nd annual retreat this past weekend. The theme of this year’s retreat was Rejoice. It was a blessed time of rediscovering the joy of the gospel and strengthening our community. Thank you church for your support and prayers.

Hey Gospel City! Our annual fall retreat is right around the corner.

Amidst the busyness and challenges of life, we are often weighed down and struggling to live in the joy we have in Christ. As we spend this extended time together as a community, we hope to be strengthened in the Lord by rediscovering the joy of our salvation. Come join us for our 6th retreat, Rejoice! We’ll be nestled in the mountains of Gapyeong next to a beautiful lake!

Last Sunday, our Korean community had a farewell lunch for Joseph, a longtime member of Gospel City.

During Joseph’s time at our church, he served as an intern and resident. And now he has been called to pastoral ministry at a Korean church plant. Please lift up a prayer for him as he begins this new chapter.

Thank you Joseph for loving our church. You will be missed!

We are excited to announce this year’s Annual AIM Good Friday Service on Friday, April 7th, 7:30 p.m. at Sarang Church (Grace Hall, B6). Join us as the greater international community in Korea comes together in remembrance of the death of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Last week we had our first Friday Worship & Prayer

Last week we had our first Friday Worship & Prayer Night of 2023! It was a blessed evening of songs, prayer, and fellowship. Thanks to all who came out.

Living in Seoul can be busy and full of distractions. We hope our Friday Worship & Prayer Night’s will be a chance for us to slow down, sing, and pray together as a church. Our next gathering will be on March 31. Hope to see you there!

With the start of the new year, we will be starting a new sermon series.

[Psalms of Ascent: Songs for the Journey]

Psalm 120-134 is a collection of psalms that pilgrims would sing and pray as they ascended to Jerusalem for the major Jewish festivals. These 15 psalms cover a wide range of situations and emotions that represent the spiritual journey for the believer. And ultimately, they point us to Christ who leads, provides and sustains us on that journey. Join us as we study these psalms to guide us through the new year and many more to come.
